We ship often to make booking walks simpler and to give walkers better tools. Below are customer-visible improvements—plain language, no jargon.
March 25, 2026
- Pet parents — Expanded profile. Save service address, phone, text vs call preference, and pickup tips for walkers from your account profile. Walkers only see this after they accept a booking—it never appears on public dog profiles or in the directory.
- Dog walkers — Clients. One place to see pet parents you are working with, grouped by family from pending and confirmed bookings. Contact, service address, and pickup tips from their profile show on each card for confirmed walks (opened by default so you do not miss them); we also explain when a parent has not filled that in yet or you have not accepted a walk.
March 24, 2026
- Everyone — Clearer onboarding. First-time sign-in steers you through choosing pet parent or dog walker with a focused overlay, and the dashboard role picker sends you to the right home without guesswork.
- Everyone — Navigation polish. The role switch is easier to use, marketing links stay centered on larger screens, and the header stays calm on small phones.
March 23, 2026
- Pet parents — Directory distance. Choosing “any distance” shows walkers beyond a tight radius when you want the full list.
- Dog walkers — Smarter enrollment. New walker profiles can pull your name, photo, and contact channels from your account when available, with a friendly placeholder if you have not set a picture yet.
- Dog walkers — Steadier profile editing. The walker profile form no longer flashes or resets while you type when your session refreshes in the background.
March 22, 2026
- Pet parents — Owner dashboard. See walkers you have booked recently and upcoming confirmed walks in one place.
- Pet parents — Contact on profiles. When you are signed in, you can open a walker’s email or phone from their public profile (after authentication) to coordinate details.
- Dog walkers — Sign-in routing fix. Signing in as a walker no longer drops you on the pet-parent dashboard by mistake.
- Everyone — Two apps, one account. Pet tools live under
/owner/…and walker tools under/walker/…—switch roles when life calls for both.
March 20–21, 2026
- Pet parents — My Bookings, upgraded. Tabs for pending, confirmed, past, and closed requests; archive old threads; calendars highlight today and respect walker days off when you pick a time.
- Dog walkers — Mark days off. Block whole calendar days on your schedule so parents are not offered slots when you are unavailable.
- Everyone — About, Safety, and Contact. A story page, trust-and-safety guidance, and a contact form so you can reach the team.
- Everyone — Cleaner home search. Adjusting filters updates results without cluttering the address bar; reset brings you back to a simple
/. - Everyone — Signed-in navbar. Fewer marketing links when you are already in the product—more room for Bookings, Profile, and role switching.
March 19, 2026
- Pet parents — Rate walks with paws. After a confirmed walk ends, leave a one-time paw rating; it feeds the walker’s public score over time.
- Pet parents — Location-aware search. Use your location and a mileage radius to sort nearby walkers; half-hour booking slots throughout the day.
- Dog walkers — Dashboard insights. See completed walks, week earnings, today’s schedule, and your rolling rating from parents in one glance.
- Dog walkers — Profile and map. Set your service area from “find my location” and keep photos stored securely with the app.
- Everyone — Trust and clarity. Expanded Terms and Privacy, including age expectations for accounts and walker listings, and a consistent visual design across pages.
